DAY 01
ARRIVAL COLOMBO – CHILAW - KANDY
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and warm welcome by our representative. Proceed to Chilaw and visit the sacred Munneswaram Temple and Manavari Temple, important Ramayana sites associated with Lord Rama. Thereafter continue to Kandy and enjoy a relaxing evening in the cultural capital of Sri Lanka.

DAY 02
KANDY CITY TOUR
After breakfast, enjoy a captivating Kandy city tour. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, local markets, gem museum, and scenic viewpoints. In the evening witness a traditional Sri Lankan cultural dance performance.

DAY 03
KANDY – RAMBODA – NUWARA ELIYA
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda. Visit the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, believed to be one of the locations where Hanuman searched for Sita Devi. En route enjoy Tea Plantations, Waterfalls, and stunning mountain scenery. Continue to Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England.”

DAY 04
NUWARA ELIYA RAMAYANA SITE
Visit the famous Seetha Amman Temple and Ashok Vatika, where Sita Devi was believed to be kept captive by King Ravana. Explore Gayathri Peedam and Divurumpola Temple, associated with the Agni Pariksha of Sita Devi. Enjoy the cool climate and beautiful surroundings of Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 05
NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – KATHARAGAMA
Travel towards Ella and visit the magnificent Ravana Falls and Ravana Cave, legendary sites connected with King Ravana. Continue to Kataragama and visit the sacred Kataragama Temple, one of Sri Lanka’s most important pilgrimage sites.

DAY 06
KATHARAGAMA – GALLE – COLOMBO
After breakfast proceed along the southern coastal route to Colombo. En route enjoy a brief visit to the historic city of Galle and its famous Dutch Fort. Continue to Colombo and enjoy a city tour including temples, shopping areas, and colonial landmarks.

DAY 07
COLOMBO – AIRPORT DEPRTURE
After breakfast visit the Sri Anjaneyar Temple in Colombo before transfer to the airport for your departure flight with unforgettable memories of the Ramayana Trail in Sri Lanka.
