SIGIRIYA | VILLAGE TOUR | MINNERIYA NATIONAL PARK
Morning
Sigiriya Rock Fortress was built in the 5th century by King Kashyapa as a magnificent royal citadel. This UNESCO World Heritage Site once served as a grand palace and fortified capital. It reflects advanced ancient engineering, featuring mirror wall inscriptions, intricate frescoes, and perfectly planned gardens, showcasing Sri Lanka’s rich heritage and royal architectural brilliance.

Afternoon

Safari: Embark on a Jeep Safari at Minneriya or Hurulu Eco Park (based on elephant movement).

RITIGALA FOREST & POLONNARUWA ANCIENT CITY

After breakfast, visit the Ritigala Forest Monastery and ancient city of Polonnaruwa.

Night
Night Walk: If you’re hoping to see lorises at night around Sigiriya, you’re in one of the best areas in Sri Lanka for it. The species here is mainly the Grey Slender Loris, a small, slow-moving primate that’s active after dark.
- The forests and scrublands around Sigiriya and nearby villages become active after sunset.
- Lorises usually come out between 7:00 PM and midnight, moving quietly through low branches and shrubs.
They’re easiest to spot by their reflective eyeshine when a flashlight is used carefully.
A loris night safari in Sigiriya is a real thing—and actually one of the most unique wildlife experiences you can do in Sri Lanka.

DAMBULLA | KANDY

KANDY | KNUCKLES MOUNTAIN RANGE | KANDY

After an early breakfast, depart from Kandy and enjoy a scenic drive through picturesque villages, tea plantations, and mist-covered mountain roads towards the breathtaking Knuckles Mountain Range, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed wilderness renowned for its dramatic landscapes, cloud forests, waterfalls, and exceptional biodiversity.

Arrive at the trailhead and begin a guided trek through pristine mountain forests, rolling grasslands, and hidden valleys. Afternoon
Continue your exploration through the wilderness, visiting viewpoints, forest trails, and cascading waterfalls. Capture unforgettable photographs of the rugged peaks and lush valleys before commencing the descent. The Knuckles Range is located approximately 1.5–2 hours from Kandy, making it an ideal day excursion.
Evening
