Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival Bandaranayke International Airport you will met our guide for a private transfer to your hotel in Negombo.
Once a trading port for Dutch and British, Negombo has developed into a bustling modern town with a handful of reminders of its colonial past. Situated close to the international airport, it makes a convenient rest spot before heading inland to explore or before an onward flight. The wide golden sand beach is dotted with fishing boats and the inland resort road offers a selection of restaurants and bars. (15km / approx. 30 minute).

Rise early for a chance to visit the local fish market to see traders selling the catch of the day. Return to your hotel for breakfast and later set off for the 4-hour drive northeast to the Cultural Tringle, your base for the 3 nights.

Visit former capital of Polonnaruwa, build during the 11th and 12th Centuries and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ruins of its ancient Royal Palace and temple before an afternoon at leisure.

At the end of the catamaran ride, experience another form of ancient village transport and take a ride in a bullock cart to the mud house for lunch, traditional rice and curry.

Start the day at Sigiriya or “lion Rock”, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hike to the top is fairly strenuous but worthwhile to see the rock frescoes, the ruin of the 5th Century palace and the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Later drive to Minneriya National Park for a game drive.

Head first to the Dambulla Cave Temples, a complex of five caves filled with Buddha images and statues, reached by a hike to the top of sloping rock. Continue to the hill country capital of Kandy, with an optional stop at a Matale spice garden en route. Continue to Kandy, British Garrison Cemetery In the evening enjoy a show of Sri Lanka music and dance before a visit to famous temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

Spend the morning exploring Kandy, with a visit to the Museum including the famous blue and star sapphires and mined, cut and polished using traditional methods, bustling market. Bustling market, later enjoy a leisurely stroll around the beautiful Peradeniya Royal Botanic Gardens.

take a scenic Train Ride Kandy to Ella, a wonderfully atmospheric way to arrive in the tea country. From Kandy the train climbs slowly into the hills, offering spectacular views over lush tea plantations, on arrival to Ella driver will pick up you and take to walk around Ella small village town.

Head south from your tea country stopping Rawana waterfalls, Bduruwagala Temple continue to Udawalawa. Afternoon enjoy with game drive Udawalawa National Park. its known for its herds of elephant, but it is also home to many other animals such as buffalo, macaque and langur monkeys, sambar deer and crocodiles.

Transfer to Galle UNESCO site, visit a conservation project on a protected stretch of coast, known as a nesting have for five species of Turtles. On arrival to Galle take walking tour of the old fort. Wander along the ramparts, pass the lighthouse and old Portuguese harbor and stop to see some of the many colonial era building and vary famous for restaurant.
